Mason Meals Grows with New Office and Workspace Updates

9/8/2025

At Mason Meals, growth is not just about serving more meals. It is about creating spaces where our team can thrive, collaborate, and continue delivering high-quality food with care. That is why we are excited to share updates on our ongoing property renovations, which are now about 80 percent complete. These updates are transforming both of our buildings into functional, modern spaces designed to meet the needs of our expanding operations.

Our property includes two main buildings. Before the renovation, one building housed our logistics operations and team desk, while the second building was home to the Mason Meals kitchen staff who prepare dinners. While functional, the spaces were not optimized for collaboration or efficiency. The renovation project is designed to bring the team together, create more versatile work areas, and provide an inviting experience for staff, clients, and visitors.

A Fresh Welcome
The front portion of the second building has been redesigned as a welcoming area. Bright, open, and approachable, this space sets the tone for anyone entering the Mason Meals property. Whether it is clients stopping by for a meeting, prospective partners touring the facility, or new team members joining, the welcome area reflects our commitment to professionalism, warmth, and community.

Above this area, the new team desk is being set up on the top floor. This space is designed to allow staff to work in a collaborative, open environment while remaining connected to the flow of operations. Once complete, it will foster creativity, communication, and focus with plenty of natural light and room for movement.

Modern Workspaces for Our Team
The renovated office area will include three private offices, providing quiet spaces for focused work, leadership tasks, and meetings that require privacy. Alongside these, there is an open desk area designed for collaboration among team members. This flexible setup encourages spontaneous brainstorming, quick check-ins, and effective teamwork while still offering personal workspace.

Adjacent to the office space, a small kitchen area for staff is being incorporated. This area is separate from the main Mason Meals kitchen but will provide convenience during workdays, helping maintain energy and morale with easy access to snacks, beverages, and quick meals.

Streamlining Operations

One of the main goals of the renovation is to better integrate logistics and administrative work with our kitchen operations. By improving the layout and flow between the two buildings, our team will be able to communicate more efficiently, coordinate deliveries, and support the kitchen staff with ease.

The kitchen itself remains a hub of activity, especially during dinner preparation for catering and special events. Renovations focus on maintaining a safe, efficient, and functional space where our staff can continue to prepare meals that meet the high standards Mason Meals is known for.

A Space Built for Growth
These renovations are strategic enhancements that reflect Mason Meals’ commitment to growth and excellence. Once complete, the new layout will allow our team to operate more efficiently, collaborate more effectively, and welcome visitors in a professional, inviting environment.

The combination of private offices, open work areas, and a dedicated welcome space ensures that every part of our property serves a purpose. From logistics and administrative tasks to kitchen prep and team collaboration, each area is designed for productivity and comfort.

Looking Ahead

As Mason Meals continues to expand its operations, the ongoing renovations position us to support both our growing team and the clients we serve. The updates reflect our dedication to quality, both in the meals we prepare and in the spaces where our team works.

We are excited for the future and the opportunities these new spaces will create. From streamlined workflows to a more collaborative work environment, the renovated property sets the stage for continued growth, stronger teamwork, and enhanced service to our clients and community.

Mason Meals’ property updates strengthen the foundation for the people who make our mission possible.

Feeding Change: Mason Meals Partners with Philadelphia Prisons for City Meeting at CFCF

On Friday, June 27th, Mason Meals reached a major milestone in its journey to feed, serve, and support the people of Philadelphia. In a collaboration with the City of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Prisons Department, Mason Meals was entrusted with providing lunch for a high-level city meeting held at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility (CFCF). With over 200 fresh sandwiches packaged and delivered, the event marked a powerful intersection of food, community, and impact.

This wasn’t just another catering gig. It was an opportunity for Mason Meals to show up and serve in a space that too often goes unseen. The meeting, which included the presence of Philadelphia’s Mayor and other prominent city officials, aimed to foster discussion and progress around criminal justice, rehabilitation, and public service. With this backdrop, Mason Meals was honored to provide quality meals that brought comfort and nourishment to the city officials, administrators, and staff present.

A Menu Made for Everyone
When it comes to feeding large groups, especially in professional and government settings, variety and quality are key. Mason Meals delivered just that.

The lunch featured a diverse assortment of sandwiches, including:
Turkey: Classic and satisfying, served with crisp lettuce and tomato on fresh bread.
Ham: Hearty and flavorful, a timeless option that pleases many.
Tuna: Made with care, offering a lighter, protein-packed alternative.
Veggie: Crafted with fresh produce, ideal for vegetarian and health-conscious eaters.

Each sandwich was thoughtfully prepared and individually packaged to ensure freshness, safety, and convenience for the attendees. Along with the sandwiches, the meals included snacks and beverages, keeping everyone fueled through an afternoon of important dialogue.

More Than Meals
While the sandwiches themselves were a highlight, the deeper story is about what Mason Meals represents. Founded on the principles of community, consistency, and care, Mason Meals isn’t just a food service provider. They’re a mission-driven company that believes in nourishing both stomachs and systems.

Feeding over 200 people at a city-hosted meeting inside one of Philadelphia’s largest correctional facilities speaks volumes about the direction Mason Meals is heading. It’s not just about business growth. It’s about social responsibility. It’s about showing up in spaces that are often overlooked and being a part of the solution.

In settings like CFCF, where policy and real-life outcomes intersect, food becomes more than sustenance. It’s a tool for unity, a signal of respect, and a reminder that care and quality should reach everyone, no matter the location or context.

A Seat at the Table
With the Mayor in attendance and several key city leaders present, this was a significant event for Mason Meals to support. The visibility alone is a huge step for a growing business rooted in local values. But beyond visibility, it was a chance to be a part of larger conversations around reform, rehabilitation, and how the city takes care of its own.

Mason Meals continues to grow its reputation as a trusted provider for organizations that prioritize both quality and impact. The attention to detail, respect for dietary needs, and commitment to timely service helped ensure the meeting ran smoothly and everyone involved felt taken care of.

Looking Ahead
This partnership with the Philadelphia Prisons and the City of Philadelphia signals exciting things on the horizon for Mason Meals. As they continue to grow their client base, the team remains focused on maintaining their high standards and staying rooted in their mission: to deliver quality meals with intention and impact.

Serving city leaders and correctional facility staff isn’t just another job. It’s a sign that Mason Meals is becoming a trusted name for organizations that value both excellence and ethics. It’s also a reflection of Philadelphia itself—gritty, hardworking, community-first, and constantly pushing for progress.

As Mason Meals continues to scale and serve, one thing is clear. They’re not just feeding people. They’re feeding change. And that’s a mission worth biting into.

Fresh Plates for Bright Futures

At Mason Meals, food is a promise of care and consistency. Every weekday, our team prepares and delivers fresh breakfast and lunch to multiple daycares across Philadelphia, making sure children have access to wholesome, delicious meals that keep them energized throughout the day. By serving childcare centers, we’re not just providing meals. We’re supporting the growth, learning, and well-being of the city’s youngest residents.

A Daily Commitment to Freshness
When it comes to children’s nutrition, quality makes all the difference. Mason Meals takes pride in preparing meals fresh each morning, offering breakfast and lunch that fuel active bodies and curious minds. Our menus are built to balance flavor with nutrition, combining proteins, grains, fruits, and vegetables in ways that kids love.

Breakfast might include oatmeal with fruit, scrambled eggs, whole grain waffles, or yogurt with granola. Lunches often feature options like baked chicken with rice, pasta with lean meat sauce, tuna or turkey sandwiches, or vegetable stir-fry with brown rice. We round out meals with fresh fruit such as apples, grapes, oranges, or melon, and nutritious sides like roasted vegetables, steamed corn, or green beans.

While our daycare program focuses on breakfast and lunch, Mason Meals can also provide dinners for catered events or special occasions outside of regular programming.

Serving with Purpose
Daycares play a crucial role in shaping early development, and proper nutrition is central to that mission. For many children, the meals they receive during the day make up a large portion of their daily nutrition. According to the CDC, nearly 60 percent of children in the United States consume more than half of their daily calories while in childcare. That makes reliable food service not just a convenience, but an essential part of child development and family support.

Mason Meals takes this responsibility seriously. We prepare meals that are both kid-friendly and nutritious, helping children stay focused in the classroom, energized for play, and ready to learn new skills. By handling the food, we ease the workload for daycare providers and give parents confidence that their children are receiving balanced meals every single day.

Variety Kids Enjoy, Nutrition Parents Trust
We understand that children can be selective eaters, which is why variety is key. Mason Meals rotates menus to keep things interesting while introducing kids to new flavors in approachable ways. One week they might enjoy pasta with meat sauce and roasted carrots, while the next features baked fish with rice and a side of fruit.

Some of our staples include:
Pasta dishes with vegetables and lean protein sauces
Grilled or baked chicken and fish served with rice or vegetables
Sandwiches and wraps with turkey, ham, or tuna
Breakfast classics such as eggs, oatmeal, and whole grain pancakes
Fresh fruits like melon, apples, oranges, or grapes

Every item is designed to provide the vitamins, minerals, and energy children need to thrive. By offering variety, we keep kids excited about mealtime while ensuring they get the nutrition parents and caregivers expect.

Supporting Communities Through Food
We know how much responsibility daycare providers carry each day. Between managing classrooms, encouraging learning, and keeping children safe, mealtime logistics can add unnecessary stress. Mason Meals takes that burden off providers by delivering fresh, reliable meals directly to your center on schedule, every time.

By working with daycares, we’re not just dropping off food. We’re helping build strong communities. Research shows that proper nutrition in early childhood leads to better concentration, improved behavior, and stronger long-term health outcomes. When children eat well, they’re more prepared to learn, grow, and succeed. Parents gain peace of mind, and providers can focus fully on their mission to nurture and educate.

Looking Ahead
As Mason Meals continues to grow, our focus remains clear: supporting daycares with dependable, high-quality meal service that strengthens the foundation for healthy childhood development. We believe every child deserves fresh, nutritious meals that keep them fueled for learning and play.

For daycares considering a new food partner, Mason Meals offers more than meals. We deliver reliability, care, and the assurance that every plate contributes to a brighter future.
